nice big room great view, we had trouble finding tv Channel ,staff we very quick to help us out, very friendly staff, Great location if you don't want to stay in city ,tram stop out the front of hotel to take you straight to city and NGV

Room was large, as was the shower and storage area for luggage/clothing. Toilet can be tricky to navigate (it's behind the bathroom door). Beware of the strong water pressure in the shower and high temperature - whilst very relaxing, shower base becomes full easily, and spray from the shower head goes everywhere. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Commercial tv channels only. Location was excellent - close to two tram stops. Also directly across from Albert Park, which has a 5km walking/running/cycling loop around it, and a host of wildlife. Also very close to Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Reception staff were always accommodating and friendly.

We did book well in advance at an exceptional rate, so weren’t sure if we would end up in some terrible part of the hotel or not. Our room was dated, but amazing, great view over the park. Very large for the four of us the room service food was good price and excellent quality. The restaurant downstairs was great for the staff very helpful and very close to everywhere we needed to be. Right on the tram line or plenty of parking for Cars.

The staff were great, the bars and restaurants offered value and comfort food, and a great breakfast. The location was very convenient and yet quiet.

We loved how comfy the beds were. The staff were also really nice to us during our stay. The views of Melbourne from the room were excellent and the room was a great size! Honestly a great hotel

Great location and easy to get in and out of the hotel (entrance on the side street makes it so much easier for check in when in you're own car. Staff were accomodating and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and pacious. Loved the layout of the room with the bathroom away from beds and the little dressing area.

Very good rate for two nights Very good location Comfortable beds, good pillows Good range of food and drink options and good prices but no late night service. Nice range of toiletries and not individual bottles so no wastage to landfill.

Oh my gosh the shower - I considered how hard it would be / how much I would be charged if I unscrewed the shower head and brought it home haha! We stayed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day while visiting family at The Alfred (and Santa easily found us). The cost was substantially less for a much larger room than where other family members stayed nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the blockout curtain was one of the best I've used. Safe walking to and from the hospital at all hours with a child.
